I am a mature student, married and have three young adult children.I am seeking career advancement and a more satisfying job before retirement.
I rate myself 8 out of 10 as a commubnicator because I tend to be a silent observer in unfamiliar territory. There is also room for improvement.
Improving weak areas as a communicator:
- Reaching out to people a little more to initiate face-to-face communication.
- Learning to be more tolerant with personal matters that I may disagree with.
_Practice more active listening.
-Give feedback in a positive manner even if I disagree with the opinions others.

Article:Duprey's Money Bag

This article is in reference to the Commission of Inquiry regarding the collapse of CL Finaancial as revealed by the Director of CL Financial, Mr. Carballo.
The article presented facts via a published copy of a document which stated that Cl Financial paid bonus, dividends and exgratia pension payments to Mr. Duprey totaling as much as $78, 000,000.00. The article also included the direct speech of Mr. Carballo, which was taken from his sworn testimony to the Commission of Inquiry.The author also presented information indicating that further exorbitant sums of money were continued to be paid to Mr. Duprey without being challenged by the Board of Directors and the Executive. This article convinced me that Mr. Duprey and the board of directors of C L Financial misappropriated investors money which resulted in the collapse of CL Financial and I am now fully persuaded that integrity and proper accountability does not exist in some of our finiancial institutions, thereby leaving poor citizens like myself without redress. I was of the opinion that Clico was the best Insurance Company so I invested my savings there; however, after reading this article I have lost confidence in the leadership of Mr. Duprey and other financial institutions in Trinidad and Tobago.
